Losing sleep over an organizational need because you don’t have the time or expertise to address it?
Encore Fellows bring a wealth of professional—often corporate—expertise to help advance a nonprofit’s mission through a high impact Fellowships of 1000 hours. Fellows provide fresh perspective and bring analytical thinking to help an organization reach a new level of performance, often becoming role models for other staff. They typically serve an organization 20 hours per week for 12 months, bringing expertise in one or more areas, such as
- human resources
- strategic planning
- project and program management
- information technology
Usually the cost of an Encore Fellow is $25,000 ($20,000 stipend to the Fellow and a $5,000 program fee). Occasionally corporate sponsors pay all or part of the stipend and fees, offsetting the cost to the nonprofit.
