Using Financial Information to Manage Nonprofit Capacity Workshop

March 19 @ 1:00 pm - 3:30 pm

The purpose of this workshop is to provide you with insights into how a nonprofit builds financial sustainability into its strategy, manages its cash flow, and makes timely decisions to execute its programs, manage its risk, and course correct. By the conclusion of the workshop, you’ll be able to identify and interpret key financial and non-financial metrics to monitor performance, cash flows, and capacity for growth. You’ll not only learn key terms and leave with a feel for relationships between a statement of activities, balance sheet, statement of cash flows, and budget, you’ll also learn how and when to ask questions to make decisions.

Please bring a copy of your nonprofit’s statement of its strategy and it’s most recent annual report with financial information, if available.

This event is open to SVP Encore Fellows, SVP Partners, and SVP Community Partners only.
