Inspiration & Innovation Night: The New Faces of Education in Oregon
June 15 @ 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm
With 52% of Multnomah County children at risk of failure on their earliest days of kindergarten, Oregon high school graduation rates still at 48th in the nation, and unequal outcomes for children of color across the board, effective strategies and collective efforts are essential for change.
Join us for a cross-sector armchair conversation with Oregon Early Learning Director, Miriam Calderon, and Portland Public Schools Superintendent, Guadalupe Guerrero. Hear about the latest research, actions, opportunities, and threats to improving education outcomes in Oregon and join a moderated conversation with attendees.
Hors d’oeuvres and drinks prior to and following the program. Program runs 6:15-7:30pm.
