Established Programs Staying Ahead of the Curve
Project PAVE is working to end relationship violence in Denver by placing full-time, professional counselors in middle and high schools to change the culture of violence among our youth. As part of its strategic plan, PAVE wanted to narrow its focus and increase its collaboration with other complementary programs. SVP helped take this idea from paper to practice by exploring what implications the model shift would have on its program evaluation, staff structure, and fundraising strategy.
PAVE was recently awarded a $1 million grant from the Department of Justice due largely to the collaborative nature of its programs. This grant will allow PAVE to strengthen its programs and expand its reach into more Denver area schools.
