Many women in crisis struggle to successfully navigate through life. Without proper training and support, the pressures of life and its challenges create barriers that lead to bad decisions. Jordan CRC provides tools, processes and positive reinforcement that promote self-awareness, positive self-esteem and confidence.
The population of focus includes adult, substance-using women involved in the criminal justice system, those reentering our communities and those experiencing difficult life crisis. Jordan CRC partners directly with the Cleveland Municipal Court to provide recovery housing, training and support services to participants of the Human Trafficking and Drug Specialized Dockets.
A nonprofit founded in 2004, Jordan CRC is a gender-responsive agency which means we are creating an environment through site selection, staff selection, program development, content and materials that reflect an understanding of the realities of the lives of women and girls and that addresses and responds to their strengths and challenges.
In 2016, Jordan CRC established “Success Institute” which is a hybrid school that is registered with the State of Ohio Board of Career Colleges and Schools. The goal of Success Institute is to provide certifications, employment placement and mediation for individuals that have difficulties securing employment in fields that generate a comparable living wage.
Jordan CRC is expanding its social enterprise model to further leverage its assets, and create a greater impact in the overall well-being of the agency and the unique population we serve.
Our Philosophy: We believe, “As one woman is redirected an entire generation is positively impacted.”
