Program Details

  • February 15: The Steering Committee invites 12-15 semi-finalists to participate.
  • March 1: The nonprofits that are selected to participate in the program attend an orientation and meet their coaches. The event will include a guest speaker.
  • March 14: Executive directors make their first elevator pitch. Coaches share feedback and scoring with presenters.
  • March 15-April 2: Coaches meet with EDs to review and discuss scores, ranking and written feedback (at least one hour meeting within this timeframe).
  • April 3: Presenters make their second practice pitch. Coaches share feedback and scoring with presenters.
  • April 4-25: Coaches meet with EDs to review and discuss scores, ranking and written feedback (at least one hour meeting within this timeframe).
  • April 26: Presenters make their third practice pitch. Steering committee selects top eight organizations to pitch during the showcase event based on coaches input.
  • May 8: Showcase event at Uptake. Top eight nonprofits pitch.

Fast Pitch finalists compete for $35,000 in prizes and pro bono services.
