Mr. Walldorf, a native of Chattanooga, TN, graduated from of the University of Virginia with a major in American Government. Shortly after college, Chad and two high school friends opened the first Sticky Fingers Restaurant in Mount Pleasant, SC in 1992. They eventually sold the company in 2006 after growing it to sixteen restaurants throughout the Southeast and a national line of barbecue sauces. Since then, Chad has been involved in a number of other businesses as an investor, advisor and board member.
Chad has been very involved in state government having served as Deputy Chief of Staff to a governor and served as chair of several organizations including the SC Government Efficiency and Accountability Review Commission, the SC Club for Growth, the SC Venture Capital Authority and as Vice Chairman of Governor Nikki Haley’s Transition Team. He was a member of the inaugural class of the Liberty Fellowship and currently serves as the governor’s appointed Chair of the South Carolina Board of Economic Advisors as well as on the board of Wings for Kids.
