Born in New Mexico but raised in the Wisconsin, Mary is excited to be back in the vast open spaces of mountains and valleys as opposed to the vast open spaces of corn and soy beans. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and has seven years of experience in the nonprofit and government sectors where she worked closely with community members, donors, volunteers and colleagues to identify and systematically address the needs of the community.
Mary is energized by the unknown and making big ideas happen. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Community Health Education from the University of Wisconsin La Crosse, and a master’s degree in Public Health and a Global Health Certificate from the University of Washington, Seattle. With Mary’s education and experience in project management, instructional design, program evaluation and group facilitation she works closely with partner members to assure a comfortable and effective learning environment for both members and clients.
After taking a one-year hiatus from typical American life to travel internationally, Mary has relocated to Boulder with Cole, her husband, and Luna, a smart and spunky but sadly aging Weimaraner. While she dabbles in ultra-running, she also loves traveling, cooking, but not baking due to elevation woes, reading and listening to other’s life adventures.
SVP’s Program Coordinator is responsible for providing management and administrative services to programs that serve nonprofits and givers in order to further the mission of SVP. Mary works full time and is available Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm. Reach her at firstname.lastname@example.org or 303.800.7230.
